Book Review: The Lunatic Café (An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Novel #4)

Book Title: The Lunatic Café (An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Novel #4)
Author: Laurell K. Hamilton

I’ve survived a lot – from jealous vampires to killer zombies – but this love thing may kill me yet,” Anita Blake, The Lunatic Café by Laurel K. Hamilton

Final Verdict: If you like love triangles and romance, this will be the best in the series for you. If, like me, you like the butt kicking, zombie raiser and vampire executioner side of Anita Blake, this book will most likely fall flat for you.

Book Review: Circus of the Damned (An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Novel #3)

Book Title: Circus of the Damned (An Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Novel #3)
Author: Laurell K. Hamilton

There was dried chicken blood embedded under my fingernails. When you raise the dead for a living, you have to spill a little blood” Anita Blake, Circus of the Damned by Laurell K. Hamilton

Final Verdict: If you enjoyed books one and two in the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, Series then Circus of the Damned is a must read. A little repetitive overall, but it ties up plot points that have been building and the twist at the ending somewhat makes up for it!

Death didn’t bother me much. Strong Christian and all that. Method of death did. Being eaten alive. One of my top three ways not to go out.
Anita Blake, The Laughing Corpse by Laurel K. Hamilton.
